Able+ actions directory

This directory contains a list of actions available to assign to a permission set in Able+ and what these allow a user to do.

Child places actions

Administrative actions can be given to a user in the top-level place of a hierarchical organisation so that they can perform those actions in any child places within their organisation. These actions are identified by including the term ‘child places’ in the action name.

All other actions only allow a user to perform that action in the place in which they were created.

Core actions

These are the actions that allow general use of Able+.

Action

Allows user to:

Change own password

Change their password within Personal Settings if the user does not have the Manage user own data action.

Edit own recovery email address

Add/edit their recovery email address within Personal Settings if the user does not have the Manage user own data action.

Log in

Log in to Able+.

Manage user own data

View and edit their information within Personal Settings including changing their password, avatar and Quick Links.

View their information within Personal Settings and edit their Quick Links.

User management actions

These are the actions that allow administration of users in Able+.

Action

Allows user to:

Configure user settings

View and edit all user details.

Manage core user functions

Manually create, suspend and delete users.

Manage identity types

Change the identity type that users have been assigned.

Reset passwords

Manually reset users’ passwords, send password reset emails to users and force users to reset their password on next login.

View users

View all user details.

Group management actions

These are the actions that allow administration of groups in Able+.

Action

Allows user to:

Manage groups

Create, view and edit group information and membership.

View groups

View group information and membership.


The child places actions within group management are:

  • Manage groups in child places
  • View groups in child places

Integration actions

These are the actions that allow administration of synchronization of data within Able+. They are dependent on the relevant integration having been enabled for your organization by New Era staff.

Set up synchronisation settings with the third-party data source.

Download CSV templates

Download a spreadsheet to use for the creation and editing of users.

Edit synchronisation settings

Edit synchronisation settings with the third-party data source.

Federate place

Create a connection between Able+ and the third-party data source.

Synchronise place

View synchronisation information and perform a manual sync.

Upload CSV data files

Upload a spreadsheet to create, edit and delete users.

View sync logs

View details of creations, deletions and updates from syncs.

Place management actions

Place management actions

These are the actions that allow administration of other aspects of Able+ Cloud.

Action

Allows user to:

Configure Able+ place settings

View and edit general settings for your organisation’s Able+ place.

Create and manage permission sets

View the actions associated with permission sets and create/edit new permission sets.

Manage 3rd party interactions

Assign users’ access to third party applications on My apps.

View audit logs

View the actions performed by users in your Able+ place.
